| Foreign Study Tours |
Each of us at Cultural Tour Consultants knows the benefits of cultural and educational travel. We have each experienced the thrill and satisfaction of intellectual discovery. We know foreign study broadens one’s horizon, expands one’s world view, brings excitement into the subject matter, and introduces travelers to new areas of study. It very often is a life-changing experience. And we are delighted to be a part of that!

SHORT-TERM EDUCATIONAL FOREIGN STUDY TOURS
- UNIVERSITY ALUMNI TOURS
- HIGH SCHOOL LANGUAGE CLASSES
- UNIVERSITY HISTORY, ART, RELIGION, LITERARY, AND CLASSIC STUDIES
- ADULT EDUCATION
Many tour operators will offer you a foreign study tour that seems to include all the “must sees”. The price may appear reasonable, but the program is not flexible enough to suit your particular needs. The tour may be in progress before it is apparent that the phrase “see the Roman Coliseum” means catching a glimpse of the ancient site as you race past in a bus, in heavy traffic, at dusk following several hours in the coach making your way from places much further north! |

Gastronomy Tours for Small Groups
The most tantalizing way to learn about the history and culture of a country is to experience its gastronomic and agricultural traditions. Perhaps you’d like to taste the foods of Italy and attend a cooking class, or learn more about agritourism and the Slow Food Movement. Another IDEA is to attend one of the many food festivals in France or Spain, and visit their colorful markets.
You may wish to visit the regions where your favorite wines are produced, from the most prestigious regions of Burgundy, Bordeaux and Champagne in France, to the Priorat or Rioja regions of Spain, or along the Strada del Vino in Italy.
Cultural Tour Consultants can help your group choose a focus and plan a gastronomic or wine enthusiast tour according to your interests and budget.
